  • Dr. Ray Long: Key Muscles of Yoga

The paper version of these books is preferred. Books are optional for yoga school students, required for teacher training. 

Course format:

Daily the classes will follow this format: 

  • One hour of asana. 
  • One hour of anatomy. 
  • One hour of alignment.

What you will learn: 

  • Muscles of the upper arm 
  • Muscles of the lower arm 
  • Distinguish arm from shoulder movement 
  • When and how to call upon individual muscles

Example Asanas:

  • Down Dog 
  • Chattarunga 
  • Forearm balance 
  • Handstand 
  • Crow 
  • Twisted Crow
