Anatomy Essentials

Prerequisites
This is the prerequisite for all anatomy courses, so take this class first.

Course Format
This course is academic with limited movement. There will be a fair amount of time challenging your brain to learn new information.

  • Types and Purposes of body tissues such as bones, ligaments, tendons, and joints
  • Forces applied to joints
  • Science of stretch and strength
  • Built in safety and functional process in the muscular system
  • Vocabulary of movement
