As a yoga teacher and the owner of JOURNEYoga, allow me to offer a little advice as you begin your JOURNEY.

Know that yoga is hard. Yoga combines strength, flexibility and stillness. You may find some aspects of yoga more or less challenging than others. Be patient with your mind and body as you develop your skills. You’ll get there!

Try a variety of classes and teachers. We’ve got different classes to meet the needs of your body, mind and spirit. Our teachers have diverse backgrounds and experiences for you to learn from. Try out different options to see what’s the best fit for you.

Listen and respond to your body. Your safety and well-being is important. Help us keep you safe by sharing your injuries and discomforts with us. We will do our best to offer modifications and alternate poses. If you feel discomfort always feel empowered to ease out of a pose.

Try our intro offer. We offer a month of unlimited classes for $50. It's a great way to see if what we offer is a good first for you and your needs.

Ask questions! Teaching is my passion and the reason JOURNEYoga exists. We all want to help you on your journey, and we love to talk about yoga. If you have a question let me know!

Classes Appropriate for New Students

To help you navigate the schedule, we group our classes into different class types.

Movement Focus, Stillness Focus, and Skills Focus classes are accessible to most students.

If you've never done yoga before, we recommend that you try one of the FUNdamentals, Yoga, or Yoga and Meditation classes to start your journey.

As you gain experience you can try our Movement Challenge classes. If you are or if you become pregnant our Prenatal Yoga classes are the only option for pregnant yogis.

The schedule below is filtered to only show you our Movement Focus, Stillness Focus, and Skills Focus classes.
