Triangle to Half Moon

Triangle and Half Moon poses are on a continuum within the same vertical plane. Triangle can be used to increase strength and flexibility in the side body and then the same muscles challenged by balance in 1/2 moon. 

Hamstrings. External Obliques. Hip stability. Add a little balance and we're good to go!

The eight-fold path of yoga tells us that after physical practice, the next step is to work with prana or energy through manipulating the breath. This class will introduce and refine several pranayama techniques, explain their intended effects, and relate them to asana or meditation practice.
